I used to be such a makeup person, I could literally spend an hour before work/school doing my makeup, but now I typically spend about 5 - 10 minutes doing my makeup everyday…oh how things have changed. My new makeup routine is much more natural and simple because I spend pretty much all my time at home or wearing a mask these days. So here are all the products I use to create a simple and natural everyday makeup look!
- Clinique Moisture Surge
I use this moisturizer almost everyday in the morning and at night. I have the driest skin ever, and this stuff does an amazing job keeping my skin hydrated all day long. I also love to pop some of this moisturizer on my face throughout the day (on top of my makeup) when my skin is looking/feeling a little dry and dull - it perks me right up. I will say this is one of the pricier products in my makeup collection. I am through and through a drugstore girl, so it's hard for me to splurge on makeup, however if you are going to splurge, this is a great one to splurge on!
- Mario Badescu Facial Spray
Another goodie, I love to use this to hydrate my skin before I do my makeup and again throughout the day just to give me a little boost of hydration. This spray comes in 4 different scents, but my favorites are the original rose water and orange blossom. I love to carry these around with me all day just to be able to give myself a spritz whenever I feel like I need it.
- Bare Minerals Tinted Moisturizer Hydrating Gel Cream
I’ve always loved a tinted moisturizer rather than a foundation. I just hate feeling like I’ve got tons of product caked on my face, and if you feel like that too, then this bare minerals tinted moisturizer is the perfect product for you. It provides light coverage, but for a natural everyday look that’s really all you need!
- L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation
Another one of my favorite face products is the L’Oreal Pro Glow Foundation. I love to use this product on days when I feel like I want a little more coverage than the tinted moisturizer will give me. Even though this is a foundation I still feel like it’s nice and light so I don’t get that caked on foundation feeling.
- Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
This product is such an oldie but SUCH a goodie! I have literally used this concealer since I started wearing makeup back in high school. This concealer has been around forever, so I’m sure you have already tried it and loved it just as I have, but if you haven’t it’s a must!
- Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer
Another one of my all time favorite concealers. I find this one is very similar to the Maybelline Fit Me, but just slightly thicker, so I love to use this one on days when I feel extra tired or didn’t get a great night’s sleep, just for that little bit of extra coverage.
- Becca Mineral Blush in Flower
I always used to hate blush. It just felt like such a grandma product to me, I have no idea why, BUT now I almost never leave the house without it. Becca Flowerchild is a beautiful pink/peach color with just the slightest hint of shimmer to give you a natural glow, and it’s perfect.
- Almay Brow Styler Brow Mascara
This is one of those products that I cannot live without. Even if I don’t have a single other makeup product on my face, using brow gel just makes me feel so much better and more like a real person. This brow gel is one that I just decided to try on a whim, as I really don’t use a whole lot of Almay products, but I absolutely love it. The want is nice and tiny to get the shape of your brow perfect, and the gel itself is just the right consistency - not too thick or wet so your brows look nice and sculpted but not fake or overdone.
- Huda Beauty Meduim Nude Eyeshadow Palette
This eyeshadow palette is my current favorite, and I use it every single day. Whether I’m doing a simple everyday look and just want to define my crease with some of the lighter pink/brown colors, or I want to go full glam… this palette is perf!
- Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
This has gotta be my all time favorite mascara. It’s an amazing formula that doesn’t get clumpy, and adds tons of length and volume to my lashes. I love this product, even though it is on the pricier side, it definitely lasts for a long time, so I always feel like I’ve got my money’s worth for the amount of use I get.
- L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara
This is another of my favorite mascaras, and it’s a great dupe for the Too Faced mascara. I’m always looking to save and looking for a deal, so when I can find a good dupe it’s always exciting. This mascara is so similar to the Too Faced, it gives amazing volume, and length, I feel like the only thing I dislike about this mascara is it can get a little bit clumpy as it gets older. So it definitely doesn’t have as long of a shelf life as the Too Faced mascara, but overall - an amazing product!
- Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
And lastly of course, I absolutely love the Urban Decay All Nighter Facial Spray. I love to give myself a spritz of this after I finish my makeup, and have put powders on. As I said I have the driest skin ever, so as I layer products (especially powders on, I really feel like I need some extra hydration and this spray does the trick. I feel like this spray also helps the longevity of my makeup throughout the day.
So as I said before, I’m always doing a quick and easy natural makeup look. These products give me the perfect everyday look, and I can do a full face makeup look in about 5-10 minutes, which is perfect.
