Valentine's Day is just over a week away, and while restaurants are open for in-person dining, many people are looking for a way to have a special meal at home. Experts still urge caution when dining out, according to a KOCO News 5 report.

The good news is several places in Stillwater have really stepped up their takeout game amid the pandemic.

When you arrive, park in one of their designated parking places and call the number on the sign to let them know you're there. A friendly, masked member of their staff will bring out your order nicely packed and placed in a large sack. You will have to sign your receipt.

For Valentine's Day, Mexico Joes is offering Love Bird Fajitas. They come in three flavors — Buffalo Chicken, Blackened Chicken, and Barbeque Chicken. It's impossible to go wrong with any of them. They offer a variety of hand-cut steaks in various sizes with made from scratch sides. Plus, they have salads, ribs, and seafood if that suits your fancy. Don't forget to order extra hot rolls with honey butter. The whole thing is perfect for a romantic dinner at home without all the stress of cooking and cleaning up. They even have a Big Ole Brownie for dessert.

Simply call to place your order or create a new order online or in the app. When you arrive, park in one of their designated spaces and click the link they text you to check-in. Soon, a masked team member will bring your perfectly packed order to your car.

Not only do they offer their usual menu with their seasonal specials, but they also offer a selection of family-style meals. Their normal entrees come with soup or salad, and their to-go soaps and salads are roughly two servings. You can get Lasagna, Chicken Fettuccini, Five Cheese Ziti al Forno, and many other options for family-style meals. Each meal feeds 4 to 6 people, making it great for everyone in your household. Don't forget to add extra breadsticks! You can also add a delicious dessert to end the special meal for the day devoted to love on a sweet note.

Rib Crib at 103 S Perkins Rd. is well-known for its tasty barbeque, and they offer a wonderful to-go experience. Order via the phone, online, or their app, and when you arrive, park in a designated parking spot, place a call to the number, and a masked wait staff member will bring your well-packed meal to your vehicle. Your bag will be loaded with extras like packages of barbeque sauce, ketchup, and plastic utensils.

For a crowd, check out one of their three all-new family meals. You can get The Lightweight, The Classic, or The Feast, which will feed between four and eight people, depending on which one you pick. Their Pig Out Packs also work to feed multiple people.
