14-year-old Kennedy Isom was a teen missing out of the Silver Spring, Maryland. Her original missing person article can be found here on NewsBreak.

Her family is excited to report that the teen has been found. On the Instagram page that her family started to spread awareness of her case they write,

Thank you all for the immense support, you are all troopers, and thank God we were able to succeed.
We will not be answering DMs as we are already overwhelmed with the next steps, but we want to instill gratitude into each one of you who was a part of this journey.
We can now go on about our days knowing we made an impact, but also remembering that the SYSTEM has many flaws and kids need more resources, as hundreds of kids go missing every week, with many more who have trouble finding balance in school and life.

The family is thankful for all of the officers, school officials, and citizens that helped spread awareness of her case. I for one am thankful that she was found. It is not very often that I am able to update an article about a missing teen with good news.

No one seems happier than her father who goes by Too Tall on Facebook. Too Tall shared a post of nothing but gratitude at the news of Kennedy's return, stating,

Thanks for all the love n support She has been found . Jah bless

I am very happy that this story got a happy ending. I thank everyone that shared and commented.
