2 Hurt As Car Crashes, Stops Within Inches Of Hitting North Lindenhurst Building

NORTH LINDENHURST, NEW YORK - Two people reportedly suffered minor injuries after their car left the roadway and stopped within inches of a building on North Wellwood Avenue Monday night.

Suffolk County Police and the North Lindenhurst Fire Department were called to 672 N Wellwood Ave, Lindenhurst, NY 11757 at around 9:20 PM on Monday night after a vehicle left the roadway and nearly collided with a building.

The sedan came to a stop within just inches of the building, ending up on the front step of the North Lindenhurst business. Sources on scene confirmed that there was no actual contact between the vehicle and the building.

Two people suffered non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash.
