King Cake Reviews | Part 1 | Traditional Filled King Cakes | Blue Collar Bites |
We kick off the festive season of Mardi Gras on January 6th, which is Epiphany. Though there are many ways to celebrate Mardi Gras, one of the favorite things is King Cake. There are as many flavors and styles of King Cakes as the stars in the sky, at least it seems that way. In today's video, we stick to the traditional American style of King Cake, which is a sweet bread dough filled with jelly or cream cheese and baked. We review 3 different flavors and places. In upcoming episodes of Blue Collar Bites, King Cake Reviews, we'll try out some non-traditional king cakes like those filled with crawfish, or king cake beer, etc. Be sure to come back for those! Popping2tops does not accept compensation for the reviews and all opinions expressed are theirs alone.

We are a husband and wife team determined to visit as many blue-collar type restaurants and brewpubs/breweries that we can. We'll give honest opinions of the food and beverages in our reviews and we are never compenstated for our review! We also love to travel and do so in a roof-top tent, but sometimes we stay in AirBnB. We love sharing our love of hidden gems with others. Join us on our adventure!
