Spending Time with Family at Lake Kaweah

Lake Kaweah is a reservoir near Lemon Cove in Tulare California and it's formed by Terminus Dam on the Kaweah River. On this toasty day we joined our family and friends for a picnic. To get some relief from the heat we took a dip in the water after our meal, and then our friend let us ride his boat. Dylan even got a chance to man the wheels and captain the ship. I tried to catch some fish, but unless we had hours to just lounge around there was no way we were going to get anything. I didn't think I would have such a great time, but I did.
