World's First McDonald's and Railroad Museum Tour

Our family went to San Bernardino to check out the location of the world's first McDonalds, which was purchased by a Local Chicken Restaurant owner called Juan Pollo. It has been debated that this was not the first location since the Des Plaines Illinois claims to be the first, but that one was opened 15 years after. Watch the movie Founders to get a dramatized version of how McDonalds really started. The Original McDonalds has been converted into a museum of memorabilia, and was an interesting 30 minute visit. Then right next door was a world war 2 museum which we also checked out before going to have lunch at Juan Pollo. The chicken at Juan Pollo was comparable to El Pollo Loco and really hit the spot. We finally finished off the day by going to the San Bernardino Railroad Museum. By the end I was ready to go home and take a big nap.
