NEW ORLEANS, LA - Beignet Fest is a festival that celebrates beignet, one of the most popular desserts in New Orleans. It was supposed to be held on September 25, 2021, but was canceled due to the recent surge of COVID-19 cases. You can still celebrate by yourself by visiting spots in New Orleans that serve beignets.

1. Café Du Monde

Cafe Du Monde was established in 1862 and is one of the most popular spots in New Orleans. The cafe serves beignets, coffee, and others, and has various locations in New Orleans. For more information about Café Du Monde's locations and opening hours, click here.

2. Cafe Beignet on Royal Street

Cafe Beignet was established in 1990 by a small group of close friends and serves beignets, coffee, and other kinds of food. They have various locations in New Orleans, but the original cafe is located at 334 Royal Street. Visit Cafe Beignet's website for more information.

3. Loretta's Authentic Pralines

Loretta's Authentic Pralines was established over 35 years ago by Loretta, the first African American to own a praline company in New Orleans. They offer various beignets such as Praline Beignets, Crabmeat Beignets, Burger Beignets, and more. Loretta's has two locations at 1100 N Peters Street and 2101 North Rampart. Unfortunately, the restaurant on North Rampart is currently closed.

4. The Vintage

The Vintage is located at 3121 Magazine Street where you can relax while enjoying beignets and coffee. They also offer champagne and wine as well. The Vintage is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends.
