NEW ORLEANS, LA - August is almost over and there are lots of activities to do and places to visit in New Orleans. There are ongoing and upcoming events you should look out for. So, here are some more things you can do in September in New Orleans.

1. Top Taco

Top Taco is a festival held on September 23 at Lafreniere Park, where restaurants, taquerias, and bars participate in a competition to claim the Top Taco Champion title. The festival will feature live music performances, interactive activities, special guests, and more, and the proceeds will be given to the PLEASE Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization that provides scholarship, mentoring, and leadership training for at-risk students in the city.

2. Cheer the Black and Gold

The New Orleans Saints will kick off their regular season on September 12. The Saints will face the Green Bay Packers in their first game. Cheer them on in the Superdome or from sports bars throughout the city.

3. Ride around Blue Bikes

Blue Bikes are returning on September 1. Blue Bikes are available in various neighborhoods and you can use them to stroll around town at a low cost. You can then drop them off at any rack closest to you after you finish using them.

4. Enjoy the start of fall

Summer ends and Autumn starts on September 22. With the hot weather gone and the cool breeze kicks in, there are lots of activities you can do to enjoy the weather. You can enjoy outdoor dining in various restaurants or explore parks in New Orleans such as the City Park, Audubon Park, Crescent Park, and many more.
