NEW ORLEANS, LA — The New Orleans Saints will travel to Philadelphia to face the Philadelphia Eagles on Week 12 of the 2021 NFL Season. The match, scheduled for November 21, will be broadcasted live on Fox.

New Orleans will be looking to rebound from a 24-21 loss at Eagles' home, Lincoln Financial Field, on December 13, 2020. Taysom Hill started in place of Drew Brees, passing for 291 yards and two touchdowns.

Under new head coach Nick Sirianni who replaces Super Bowl-winning coach Doug Pederson, and new starting quarterback, Jalen Hurts, the Eagles will try to rebound from their dismal four-win record. Hurts replaced franchise quarterback Carson Wentz, who was traded to Indianapolis Colts.

The Eagles led the all-time match up by having 17 wins. New Orleans, meanwhile, only won 12 times against Philadelphia.

Previously, the Eagles came into the 2020 NFL season with high expectations regarding the NFC East's unclarity. Yet, they struggled with vast numbers of injuries and Carson Wentz's meltdown as they finished rock-bottom with a 4-11-1 record.

Second-round draft pick quarterback Jalen Hurts stepped in during their Week 13 matchup against the powerhouse Green Bay Packers, and he provided the spark down the stretch. The former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback threw 338 passing yards and notched three touchdowns while having a good ground game by gaining 63 rushing yards and a touchdown in

The Eagles came into the 2020 season with fairly high expectations, but a vast number of injuries and their quarterback struggling proved to be too much as they finished 4-11-1. Carson Wentz was benched for second-round pick Jalen Hurts in the second half of their Week 13 game vs. the Packers. Hurts provided the offense with a bit of a spark down the stretch.

Hurts' best game was against the Arizona Cardinals when he threw for 338 yards and three touchdowns while adding 63 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown.

The Eagles added a valuable weapon for Hurts this offseason, as they picked Heisman-winning wide receiver DeVonta Smith during the 2021 NFL Draft. They also added safety Anthony Harris and Defensive End Ryan Kerrigan from the free-agent market.

Kerrigan will replace Vinny Curry, who departed to New York Jets, and Harris will replace safety Jalen Mills, who left for New England Patriots. They also lost a backfield member as running back Corey Clement left the team to join NFC East rival New York Giants.
