NEW ORLEANS, LA — On Thursday, July 29, Michael Wilkinson, collector and Ogden Museum Trustee will host the Richardson Society and Kohlmeyer Circle gathering for cocktails reception at his residence from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Guests who will attend the event will be served cocktails and small bites while also learning about Wilkinson’s unique collection in his new home, which was designed by Lee Ledbetter in 2002 for art collector Dr. Russel Albright. The event is only accessible for a Richardson Society or Kohlmeyer Circle Member.

The Richardson Society is an exclusive affinity group consisting of the Museum’s highest-level members. There are various unique opportunities and benefits, such as private access to events and exhibitions at the Ogden Museum. In addition, you get to meet with collectors and philanthropists.
Meanwhile, the Kohlmeyer Circle is an arts community for young art patrons aged 21 - 45 who have an interest in Southern arts. To join the community you have to become a member of the Kohlmeyer Circle, to which you will enjoy several benefits.
There are several choices of membership for the Ogden Museum, but to join events such as the Richardson Society and Kohlmeyer Circle Cocktail Reception, you’ll need to sign up either as a member of Richardson Society that costs $2,500 individual or $5,000 couple or Kohlmeyer Circle that costs $175 individual or $350 couple.
This is the time to join because currently there is a twenty five percent discount for Kohlmeyer Circle membership from July 1 to August 31. In addition, both levels of membership come with lagniappe and extra benefits during this membership sale.
