Huntington Dog Beach was an hour drive from LA. It looks like a very modern beach town, and the dogs loved it a lot and running around like crazy. The water there was very shallow for a long stretch and made it possible for the dogs to go pretty far out into the ocean but their feet were stable to touch the sand. Not many beaches in LA quite have that much space so dogs could really run around freely with no one really in our way and stuff.

Located in Santa Barbara, one of the most popular spots of the beach is the scenery they have like gorgeous California cliffs and club coast. The dogs really loved running on this beach. Parking in this area was easy for drivers to find and they have a dedicated parking area so there is no street parking though. Also a dog wash station is available in the middle of the parking area.
