MINNEAPOLIS, MN — People Serving People is having a ‘Dining for Change’ to benefit families experiencing homelessness.
The dining event will take place at Duke’s on 7 on Monday, June 21, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The restaurant is organized by Craft & Crew Hospitality who handles some restaurants in the Twin Cities area including The Block Food + Drink, The Howe Daily Kitchen & Bar, Stanley’s NE Bar Room, Pub 819 and The Bar Draft House.
In this event, the Craft & Crew will donate 50% of food sales to People Serving People. Reservations are required, but this is a unique way of donating and enjoying good food. The Duke’s on 7 is located at 15600 MN-7, Minnetonka.

People Serving People is the largest emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness in Minnesota. They are also a pioneer in homelessness prevention in the area through a diverse range of programs, from raising funds, providing shelter, distributing meals, creating training sessions, arranging enrichment programs for kids and so on. The aim is to help families thrive through difficult times.
The PSP is also open for volunteers who want to be involved in the activities. However, some of their onsite activities are on hold due to the global pandemic. So, the ‘Dine for Change’ event will be one of the ways to keep providing to those who need it.
Those who are interested in the PSP mission can still raise funds and donate them directly to https://give.peopleservingpeople.org/campaign/peer-to-peer/c236779.
