Homestand to include a doubleheader on Wednesday

The Arkansas Travelers, the Double-A farm club of the Seattle Mariners, return home to Dickey-Stephens Park Tuesday, August 3 following a week on the road at Springfield. The Travs will host the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, Double-A farm club of the Kansas City Royals for a 6-day, 7-game homestand running through Sunday, August 8, with a doubleheader on Wednesday, August 4.

Here's what's happening at Dickey-Stephens Park this week!

Tuesday, August 3 will be Kids' Night at the ballpark. There will be free train rides and $1 select ice cream, presented by Hiland Dairy.

Following the game, kids will get to run the bases. Kids Run the Bases is presented by Museum of Discovery.

Wednesday, August 4 will be a doubleheader. It will also be Dog Days of Summer, where fans bringing dogs can get $3 general admission tickets and $1 hot dogs. All fans bringing dogs will be required to sit in the berm. Dog Days of Summer is presented by Moix RV. The first pitch of the first game will be thrown at 5:10 p.m.

The second game will be a makeup of the postponed May 9 game. Its first pitch will be thrown approximately 20 minutes after the end of the first game.

Thursday, August 5 will be Thirsty Thursday at the ballpark. There will be $2 select beer and $3 select draft beer for Mug Club members. The first pitch will be thrown at 7:10 p.m.

Friday, August 6 will feature post-game fireworks. Following the game, fireworks will light up the North Little Rock sky. The fireworks display will be presented by Oaklawn Racing & Casino Resort. The first pitch will be thrown at 7:10 p.m.

Saturday, August 7 there will be a wrestling ring giveaway, presented by Midtown Billiards and Svedka Vodka. It will also be Clunker Car Night, presented by Midtown Billiards and McClarty Auto Group. Following the game, kids can run the bases. The first pitch will be thrown at 6:10 p.m.

Sunday, August 8 features three ticket discount offers. It will be Operation Military Appreciation Day, on which military personnel can get $3 off general admission, box, or reserved ticket with proper ID.

Those with an Edward Food Giant coupon can also get $3 off general admission, box, or reserved ticket.

Get up to six general admission tickets for $10 when you bring your church bulletin. No upgrades are available with this offer, which must be redeemed at the box office.

Following Sunday's game, kids run the bases, presented by Museum of Discovery. The first pitch will be thrown at 2:10 p.m.

Health and safety: 100 hand-sanitizing stations have been added around the park. Staffing has been increased to clean high-touch areas. Other policies include print-at-home and mobile ticketing and a clear bag policy.
