CLEVELAND, OH — Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office will be holding "Medicolegal Death Investigation Basic Training Course 2021" taking place from Monday through Wednesday, October 4 – October 6.
Located at Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office, 11001 Cedar Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106, the event will be held from 7 a.m. (October 4) until 5 p.m. EDT (October 6).
This three-year course will cover basic topics such as forensic pathology, examination, shooting and documentation of death scenes; recognition, preservation, and collection of evidence; and identification of the deceased.
The aim of this course is to increase participants' knowledge by participating in the investigation of dynamic and interactive mock scenes.
This basic training program is very useful for Medicolegal Death Investigators, Coroners, Medical Examiners, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Paramedics/EMTs, Physicians, Nurses, Attorneys, Forensic Scientists, Funeral Directors, and Embalmers.
