Akron, OH - It's the time for the pride festival in Akron. Akron Pride Festival's organizer will conduct this annual event on August 28.
The Akron Pride Festival is an event that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community's diversity and encourages the acceptance of all people by promoting human fairness.
The event attempts to promote awareness about HIV/AIDS to all of the people in Akron.
It's all through education, support services, quality housing, and advocacy provided by the Community AIDS Network Akron Pride Initiative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
The organization seeks to serve and promote the well-being of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) community.
They also concern the persons at risk and/or affected by HIV.
You can still help out for this festival through their website, which has sponsorship opportunities available.
The organizer of the Akron Pride Festival is still open for volunteer and exhibitor opportunities.
Or else come and participate in this festival as the Akron Pride Parade takes over the city.
You won't be bored because there will be local and national entertainers, exhibitors, an interactive children's section, food trucks, refreshments, and much more will be available.
The event will be conducted in Lock 3 at 200 S Main St. The Akron Pride Festival will start at 10 AM and last until night.
