AKRON, OH — The 63rd Annual Classic, Antique, and Collector Car Show at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens will be back on Father's Day weekend.
The Ohio Region Classic Car Club of America hosts the show, which was canceled last year due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The rain-or-shine show will begin at 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 20. Around 400 classic, antique, and collector automobiles manufactured between 1915 and 1996 will be on display. This year, there will be a new category for stock antique motorcycles, including production motorcycles from 1985 and earlier.
The show will also perform Q.S. Jazz on the Courtyard Stage from 11 AM to 2 PM. on Saturday.
Stan Hywet is the former residence of F.A. Goodyear, the co-founder of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. Seiberling and his family are currently running this historic house-museum as a non-profit organization for many years since 1957. The museum is open from April to December and is located at 714 N. Akron's Portage Path.
Please do note that there is no on-site guest parking available at Stan Hywet during the show. The shuttle service will be provided between Todaro's Party Center, 1820 Akron-Peninsula Road, and Firestone CLC, 470 Castle Blvd., both of which are located two miles apart.
However, the handicapped parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The attendance can enter through the exit gate on N. Portage Path.
Although masks are not required for fully vaccinated guests, they are necessary on complimentary shuttles per shuttle service guidelines.
