The Origins Gallery held their Wee Fairy Door art exhibition and sale at the School of Visual and Performing Arts in Stroudsburg, PA on Saturday March 19th. The event included a visit from Danny the Leprechaun, by Professor Michael Kessler and a raffle. A portion of proceeds benefited the Stroud Regional Open Space and Recreation Commissions (SROSRC).

A sizable number of art lovers attended the event and congenial conversations filled the venue. Trivia questions relating to the songs Professor Kessler sang were asked after its completion. The person who had the first correct answer received a semi precious stone and those (one male and one female) who had the most amount of stones won a prize.

It was after time that the founder and curator of Origins Gallery, Jodi Singer, welcomed the gathering and shared news relating to the exhibition which consisted of a contest in association with the Stroud Regional Open Space and Recreation that would take place throughout the month in which fairy houses would be distributed in the many parks the SROSRC cares for. The person who finds one and takes a selfie with it would win a prize.

It was after this news that the process of choosing raffle tickets in order to award some prizes began. Names were called and their joyful owners eagerly bonded with their item. It was with the distribution of the final item did the event draw to its conclusion. Their Wee Fairy Door art exhibition and sale will continue to take place at the Stroud Regional Open Space and Recreation Commissions offices in East Stroudsburg, PA until March 31st.
