Sketchbook Saturdays at the Center for Puppetry Arts

Event Date: June 4, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Practice your observational drawing skills with items on display in the Center for Puppetry Arts galleries. The Center will supply sketch paper, pencils, and clipboards to all who would like to participate, but feel free to bring your own materials. This all-day program is included with the price of admission.

Flying Colors Butterfly Festival

Event Dates: June 4, 2022 through June 5, 2022

The 23rd annual Flying Colors Butterfly festival at Chattahoochee Nature Center celebrates all things pollinators. This fundraiser event for CNC features a Butterfly Encounter, pollinator experts and educators, tasty food, and live entertainment. Tickets cost $12 per person, $10 for CNC members.

UniverSoul Circus

Get ready for the coolest show you've ever seen! UniverSoul Circus is a jaw-dropping display of acrobatics and international acts from around the world for a night of world-class, family-friendly entertainment.

2022 Braves Country 5K & Dash

Event Date: June 11, 2022 from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Start your morning with a 5K run and dash at Truist Park. You'll run through the streets surrounding the park before heading to the ballpark to cross the finish line on the field. This family friendly event offers kids an opportunity to participate in the Dash (ages 7 and under), where participants will receive a short-sleeved shirt. The 5K (ages 8 and over) registration includes an Atlanta Braves game ticket and a short sleeve shirt.

Atlanta History Center Summer Camps

Event Dates: June 6, 2022 through July 1, 2022

During the summer, kids can explore the pas through games, historic simulations, and more at the Atlanta History Center. This year's summer camps focus on writing and history. There are several options for campers to choose from during the 4 weeks of camp, including: Historical Fiction Writing, Playwrighting, Fundamentals of Writing, Wonders of the Ancient World, Script Writing, Heroes of History, Role Playing Writing, and History of Space Exploration.

Summer Camp at Fernbank

Event Dates: June 6, 2022 through July 29, 2022

Campers ages 5-13 can explore a world of science and nature with Fernbank’s summer day camps. They'll learn how the brain links our bodies to our senses, raise caterpillars, dig into the past with dinosaurs, and more.

Summer Safari Camp at Zoo Atlanta

Event Dates: now through July 29, 2022

Campers ages 5-14 can immerse themselves in the hands-on, minds-on learning exploring wildlife and wild places at Zoo Atlanta. Each week, campers embark on a different Zoo expedition engaging in ways they can help save wildlife and wild places.
