Columbia County Fair

Grovetown, Georgia

Event Date: November 5, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

This family-friendly event features fun rides, side shows, and carnival foods. Admission costs only $8 per person, free for children under 5, and parking is free at the Fairgrounds.

55th Annual Deer Festival

Monticello, Georgia

Event Date: November 6, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Held each year on the first Saturday in November, this annual festival features handmade items, food, music, and shopping at over 130 vendors. You can certainly find items for the special hunter in your life at this festival.

Gainesville Chicken Festival

Gainesville, Georgia

Event Date: November 6, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Celebrating Gainesville’s status as the Poultry Capital of the World, this annual festival is the Official Chicken Cook-off for the state of Georgia. The cook-off awards the Chicken City Cup to the best chicken in town, and proceeds benefit the Gainesville Chicken Scholarship and the You’re the Reason Scholarship, administered by North Georgia Community Foundation. In addition to the cook-off, there will be chicken sampling, live music, entertainment, and an art market.

Railfan Festival

Cordele, Georgia

Event Date: November 13, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This annual festival at the Cordele Depot features children’s activities, model railroad displays, craft vendors, and a 1-hour train ride on the SAME Shortline.

Garden Lights Holiday Nights

Atlanta, Georgia

Event Dates: November 13, 2021 through January 15, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden’s annual holiday light show is back for 2021. Enjoy the 11th annual holiday extravaganza featuring a dazzling light display with millions of brilliantly colored LED lights.

Illuminate: Chinese Lantern Festival & Acrobat Show

Lawrenceville, Georgia

Event Dates: November 19, 2021 through January 1, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday through Sunday nights

Walk through a maze of illuminated sculptures that reach nearly 30 feet tall at the Sugarloaf Mills Mall. This traditional Chinese Lantern Festival features scenes like the Forbidden City, life Under the Sea, and a Christmas Village.

Margaritaville’s Lakeside Light Spectacular

Buford, Georgia

Event Dates: daily November 19, 2021 through December 30, 2021 and select dates through February 27, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Visit Margaritaville’s all-new Lakeside Lights Spectacular for a night of nostalgic wintery fun. You’ll walk through a magical lighting extravaganza with festive seasonal music.

Kingsland Catfish Festival

Held annually the Saturday before Thanksgiving, this festival features arts and crafts booths, food, antiques and collectables, a children’s area, a 5K run, a beauty pageant, and a catfish cooking competition.
