National Croissant Day is tomorrow and what better way than to think about where to get the flakiest and most buttery french breakfast morning treat in the golden apple? Here are some of my recommendations that everyone should try at least once.
Chantilly Bakery in Bronxville does not only have a good name for themselves when it comes to making an epic croissant but their creativity certainly doesn’t let them stop there. This National Croissant Day, Saturday January 28th, they are going out with a bang with a big flaky and buttery celebration. With really interesting and delicious combinations that will intrigue any foodie around. Such as, french onion, strawberry shortcake, cannoli, matcha, creme brulee, red velvet, german chocolate just to name a few. Go on their Instagram and check out their full menu.
Bella’s Bakery in Mount Kisco offers traditional and Supreme Croissants, yes those round shaped croissants that are taking over social media, are a big hit in northern Westchester. Try their Supreme Croissant Cinnamon Bun and assortment of croissants baked daily. While you’re there, check out their sourdough bread as well.
La Parisienne in Larchmont has created quite a stir in this part of Westchester with the best croissants. They also offer mini croissants in a variety of flavors for their weekly specials. Chocolate chip, custard and apple turnover is just a couple of variations on their list.
La Tulipe Bakery in Mount Kisco bakes these very fancy croissants that are certainly Instagram worthy but are they delicious? Well, if you like fresh, buttery and flaky then you’re in for one of the best croissants you’ll ever try. Raspberry, everything bagel flavored croissant, almond, ham and cheese and a decadent chocolate croissant. I’ll take one of each, please.
These are just a few of the many amazing croissant places around here. So make sure to mark National Croissant Day on your calendar. Saturday January 28th and treat yourself to one of these delicious treats!
