We are so happy to hear that Westchester County has a second Duck Donuts location, right in White Plains NY. The owners have their first location in Mamaroneck but was lucky to grace us with a Duck Donuts on this side of Westchester county. If you haven’t had a donut from Duck Donuts yet, I highly recommend hightailing it over as soon as you can.
These mouth watering donuts are cooked and prepared right in front of you, before they hit the fryer to the last bit of trimmings. Still warm with the first bite, you can’t get anymore fresh like Duck Donuts.
This popular donut shop has a lineup of favorites such as Bacon In The Sun, Coconut Island Bliss, and Beach Ball. But since it’s October and DD has their seasonal fall assortment out, I would suggest trying that as your first and don’t worry their maple bacon donut is included. Um hello… apple cobbler and pumpkin streusel, anyone? I can tell you firsthand you will not be disappointed.
Their menu doesn’t just stop at donuts. Delicious coffee and espresso drinks to accompany the tasty goods. An extensive selection of milkshakes such as cookies and cream, s'mores and my own personal favorite- maple bacon milkshake. Last but not least, Duck Donuts breakfast sandwiches are something to take note of. All prepared with a warm donut and you won’t want to miss out on their popular sandwich combination- maple drizzle, chopped bacon, sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Yes, it is quite the mind blowing experience.
If you’re planning an epic party or event and want to do something fun and different, Duck Donuts caters for parties, special events, corporate events and fundraising programs. They offer donut cakes, donut pops, mini donuts, donut platters and here is one everyone will love- a donut wall. Who can say no to that?!
The owners of Duck Donuts opened their first location in Mamaroneck back in January of 2020 and were only up and running for a couple of months before they were unfortunately greeted with the pandemic. Luckily, during the shutdown they were still able to get their donuts available for pick up orders and quickly enough word got around town and everyone was lining up. Just as supportive as the locals were, the owners made sure during this tough time that all the first responders and hospitals were being well fed by Duck Donuts to ensure their dedication and support to the community.
When Duck Donuts was thriving again, in 2021 Hurricane Ida unexpectedly swooped in and took everyone by surprise the amount of destruction it did along the eastern seaboard. Ida caused a tremendous amount of water damage that took the donut shop 5 months to get back on their feet. Again the community wanted to help out their favorite local donut shop and came to their rescue. While this was all happening, they were trying to open their second location.
With time and perseverence, Duck Donuts has opened their second location in White Plains just a couple of weeks ago and it appears that word has already gotten around town. Since Duck Donuts has become a fan favorite, we’ll be on the lookout for their third location hopefully coming soon.
