Ziggi's Coffee opened their second Cheyenne location, and Western Vista opened their third Cheyenne location! Now they are going to have an official Grand Opening!
History and Recent events...
According to the property assessor, the City Center Building (located across the street from the Civic Center) was built in 1982. Based on Google Maps Street View from previous years, the building had been for lease for a good part of the 2010s. Recently, Western Vista Credit Union began renovating the first floor for their new branch.
As mentioned in a recent article, Ziggi's Coffee was going to have (and had!) their first day open on Tuesday, Feb 21st. It turns out that Western Vista softly opened their new Thomes Avenue branch (whose branch is located in the lobby with Ziggi's Coffee in the City Center Building) late last week as confirmed by both staff and a post on Western Vista's Linkedin.
There are also numerous other occupants that have setup shop in the upper levels of this building! All of the tenants appear to be listed in the digitized directories inside the building.
Grand opening for Ziggi's and Western Vista
Upon visiting Ziggi's Coffee on their first day, it was discovered here at Optopolis that both Ziggi's and Western Vista are set to hold their Grand Opening on Friday, Feb 24th. It will start at 10 AM.
On Ziggi's Coffee's side of the Grand Opening, all customers who visit the Thomes Avenue location between 10 AM and 2 PM will be given one free 16 oz drink of your choice. According to this Ziggi's event posted on Facebook, this excludes Red Bull Infusions and mobile app orders.
As for Western Vista Credit Union, the new branch is already holding a Sweepstakes that began at 9 AM MT on February 3rd, 2023 and will end at 5 PM MT on March 31, 2023, according to the respective page on their website. They will be holding their part of the event from 10 AM to 2 PM as well, based on the event posted on their Facebook page.
