Eastern Sierra Backcountry - Buttermilk Trail
We packed our #SuperPacific #switchback truck camper and made our way up the 395 to explore the Buttermilk Trail with some friends. There is nothing like exploring a new area and seeing the beauty of the backcountry. The trail consisted of washboard roads, rocks, and some mud. The terrain changed from dry desert, to shaded woods, and the views were incredible as we climbed in elevation. We even ran into some friendly locals along the trail. Although we never share exact coordinates, remember that part of being an overlander and explorer is planning out your expedition and discovering these locations. It is one of the most intriguing things that we love about adventure. Also, there is a responsibility to the land, we all need to do our part to keep the wild...wild!
