North Shore Hidden Gems: Waialua Local Businesses | Coffee, Chocolate, Snow Puffies & More

When visiting Hawai'i, many people tell you not to miss out on the North Shore. While the North Shore incorporates a large part of the island, there is a lesser-known part of the North Shore...the town of Waialua. Waialua is located only 5 minutes outside of Haleiwa but it offers a great experience with lots of small local shops and our favorite...chocolate and coffee. There is so much to see in a small radius and most importantly, all of these businesses are reopened now since the pandemic. Take the 5 minute ride down to Waialua and experience the famous snow puffies from Paalaa Kai Bakery, the enormous wet taco from Gordos, the incredibly tasty slush from Wicked HI and some of the best chocolate on island at Waialua Sugar Mill.
