Waimea Valley is known as the "Valley of the Priests" and is not only a beautiful spot on the island of O'ahu, but a very spiritually rich area as well. Every few feet upon entering the valley, you will see plaques with descriptions of each area you are viewing. The flowers, birds, and trees are stunning on the hike to the waterfall which is paved and easily accessible for people with strollers or scooters.
