Are New Yorkers returning to yoga studios in New York City? Yes. Try to book a class, and you will find out for yourself. Sometimes, you will have the option to reserve a spot. Other times, you will see a familiar message: full. Of course, many yoga studios are still offering virtual options. For Cyber Monday (today), several NYC studios are also offering deals - on both online and in-person classes.
Modo Yoga NYC
To snag the Cyber Monday sale going on at Modo Yoga NYC, your yoga budget will need to exceed $100 a month. They offer heated classes at their locations in Williamsburg and the West Village. Class types include various flow styles, as well as yin. Most classes are 60 minutes in length. Today's sale includes a 6 month standard membership for $749, a 6 month freedom membership for $1049, and a 50 class card for $1000.
Online annual plans at Y7 Studio are 50% off today with code CYBERMONDAY50. Their NYC studios (also heated) are open again, with locations in Flatiron, Park Slope, Williamsburg, East Village, and Upper East Side. However, the Cyber Monday deal appears to only apply to their online streaming classes.
The classes, along with merch, are 20% off with code CYBERTING from Sky Ting. Their studio in Chinatown offers yoga from a variety of traditions, including Katonah, Taoism, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Hatha and Vinyasa. New customers can also score a free month of their virtual classes, known as Sky Ting TV. A single class costs $30. When bought in a 5-pack, the price drops to $25 per class. Unlimited monthly memberships start at $220 per month.
The deals from Bode NYC began on Black Friday and will continue through Cyber Monday. Live stream packages are being offered at $8 to $9 per class. In-studio packages are being sold for $16 to $18 per class. Typically, a single in-studio drop-in class would set you back $35. Bode has three Manhattan locations: Upper West Side, Flatiron, and Upper East Side.
Yoga Tribe Brooklyn
Located on the east side of Prospect Park, Yoga Tribe Brooklyn has a few holiday specials going on. A monthly unlimited membership is being offered at $149. A 25 class card will cost you $550, which comes out to $22 per class. For comparison, a 5 or 10 class card would usually cost $29 per class.
