If you are in Los Angeles and you have no idea where to spend your days or your time, there are a few places you can go to, to guarantee your stay in the city gives you the thrill you seek. Los Angeles has an overwhelming amount of things to spend your days doing, it is not called vintage Hollywood for no reason.

Some of the places you could visit are:

1. The Santa Monica Pier and Beach

Located on the western side of downtown LA, Santa Monica houses some of the most beautiful beaches in the United States. It is also home to a vast number of amazing top restaurants and amazing nightlife zones. Santa Monica is also famed to have 200 days of Sunlight and is a go-to spot if you’d like to get your tan on.

The pier also houses a humongous Ferris, a rollercoaster, fun performances and carnival games. You could also grab a quick bite at the many restaurants lining the area. The pier is open for 24 hours.

2. The TLC Chinese Theatre

This is one of the most iconic and must-see sites, originally called the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. It was first opened in 1927 and is said to represent the excesses of Hollywood’s golden times.

The theatre is open for tours at $18, the theatre offers tours every day except on Mondays.

Other travellers have claimed they had an amazing time with the tour as the tour guides had such inspiring zeal for their jobs and some travellers complained that the tour was a little pricey and they’d have preferred a less expensive amount but overall if you are looking for a place to visit while in LA, it is recommended.

3. The Original farmers market

Another place to visit would be the farmers market. It is situated south of West Hollywood and it is one of the city’s beloved landmarks, founded in 1934 and with usefulness that attracts both tourists and the locals with fresh products and the amazing scent of snacks and food ready to be consumed at the go. Entry into the farmers market requires no ticket but it is advisable to hold a little spending cash with you in case you are drawn by any of the many delicacies.

Parking is also said to be free at the farmers market. It is a must-see for tourists.

4. The Hollywood Bowl

This is the city’s biggest and most beautiful outdoor amphitheatre. Since its first opening in 1922, the awe-inspiring stage set in the Hollywood Hills has hosted a multitude of fans and big wigs in the industry some of which are Beyonce, Madonna and the Beatles.

If you are a tourist, the theatre is an amazing touring site and you’d see a lot to hold your attention from the sound quality to the scenic overlook.

5. Rodeo drive

Immortalized by the movie pretty woman starred the famed actress Julia Roberts and her shopping spree scene in the movie. The area is well known and popular with wealthy shoppers and touring gunning to see fashion icons and celebrities.

If you are a fun-seeking tourist, this might not be the place for you as it can get a little boring if you are not planning to actively shop but if you are, get your credit cards and go on a spree.
