Milky way in the Olympic National Park

Olympic area one of the darkest places in Washington that you can enjoy the night sky. I took this Milky Way by lighting up the sea stack on the Ruby beach. Also the water was lighted up with the blue light by Bioluminescent Phytoplankton.

Bioluminescent Phytoplankton is a type of plankton that can cause the surface of the ocean to sparkle at night. The appearance of bioluminescent light varies of color. In the deep ocean, the color will be blue-green. It's a beautiful nature scene that you can enjoy just few hours' driving from the cities.
