Body of Missing 15-Year-Old Found in Willamette River, Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. – A tragic development has been reported in the case of a missing 15-year-old, Magdalene “Moon” Bryce, whose body was discovered in the Willamette River. The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) has identified the body as that of the missing teenager.

Bryce was initially reported missing on the evening of November 6, after being classified as a runaway in the Mount Tabor neighborhood. On the morning of her disappearance, Bryce left her home around 9 a.m. Later, she was recorded using her bus pass at a TriMet stop near Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 71st Avenue at 2:03 p.m. She was subsequently seen getting off the bus at a stop near the Tilikum Crossing Bridge.

The discovery of Bryce’s body was made on Monday afternoon, south of Cathedral Park in the Willamette River.

As per the information from PPB, there is no suspicion of foul play in Bryce's death. This case has brought grief to the community, highlighting the concerns regarding the safety of young individuals.
