You might have been with someone for a while and though the two of you might love and care about each other, you might have one issue. You might have an issue that your partner tries to move too fast in the relationship, not leaving enough room for organic growth. So, what do you do if your partner's actions are preventing the two of you from growing organically? How do you approach this type of situation? Though the answers to these questions may be different for everyone, here are a few suggestions.
1. Talk to your partner about this issue.
Discuss this issue with your partner and let him or her know how you feel. Listen to what he or she has to say about this issue and try to come up with a solution that works for both of you.
2. Remind your partner to slow down.
If your partner is going too fast for you in your relationship, then remind him or her to slow down. This might help him or her come up with better habits, allowing the two of you to move things along more naturally.
3. Make goals.
If your partner is worried about hitting milestones in your relationship, then sit down and discuss these milestones. Try to determine what the two of you want out of the relationship. Then, write it down and also write down a date that the two of you hope to achieve each milestone by. This might help your partner relax a little more and see that things take time.
If you have been with someone for a while but you have an issue that he or she won't let your relationship grow organically, try talking to him or her. Remind your partner to slow down if necessary and try making goals as to when you want to achieve certain milestones.
