You might have been with someone for a while and though the two of you might care about each other, you might have one issue. You might have an issue that your partner is always training for his or her next big marathon. So, what do you do if your partner spends most of his or her time running and it bothers you? How do you approach this type of situation? Though the answers to these questions may be different for everyone, here are a few suggestions.

1. Discuss this issue with your partner.

Talk to your partner about this issue and listen to what he or she has to say about it. Try to compromise on a solution to this issue that works for both of you.

2. Plan a date night.

See if your partner is willing to commit to having one date each week. During this time, the two of you can bond and spend time concentrating on your relationships.

3. Join him or her.

If you like to run, see if you can join your partner in his or her training. This might be a good way for the two of you to bond while doing something that he or she likes to do.

If you have been with someone for a while but you have an issue that he or she spends more time training for marathons than spending time with you, talk to him or her. Plan a date night if you can, or join him or her in his or her training.
