You might have started dating someone and though the two of you might have similar interests, there might be one issue. You might have an issue with the music that he or she listens to. So, what do you do if you have an issue with the music that your partner listens to? How do you handle this type of situation? Though the answers to these questions may be different for everyone, here are a few suggestions.

1. Talk to your partner about this issue.

Discuss this issue with your partner and listen to how your partner feels about it. Try to find a way to compromise on a solution that works for both of you.

2. Take turns.

Do your best to take turns listening to each other's music. This might allow both of you to share the music that you love with each other so both of your interests are represented.

3. Try to be open-minded.

Though your partner's music might not be your favorite thing to listen to, do your best to give it a chance. His or her music might be important to him or her, so try to find at least one song that you enjoy from his or her playlist so the two of you have something to talk about.

If you are dating someone that you like but you have an issue with the music that he or she listens to, then try talking to him or her. Take turns sharing your music if you can, and do your best to be open-minded.
