You might have been with someone for a while, and though the two of you might get along and care for each other, there might be one issue. You may have an issue that he or she takes hour-long showers, and this might make you late for work or other events that you are supposed to be on time for. So, what do you do if your partner takes hour-long showers? How do you approach this type of situation? Though the answers to these questions can be different for everyone, here are a few suggestions.

1. Discuss the issue with your partner.

Talk to your partner about this issue and why it is important to you. Listen to what your partner has to say about this issue, and do your best to compromise on a solution together that will solve the issue.

2. Set a timer.

If your partner has a hard time keeping track of time while he or she is in the shower, set a timer or alarm on his or her phone and have him or her take it with him or her. This way, the timer or alarm will go off when it is time to get out, and this might help him or her be more timely.

3. Remind him or her.

If he or she isn't comfortable taking his or her phone with him or her when he or she is showering, use your phone to time him or her and knock on the door when it is time for him or her to get out. This might help him or her speed up his or her shower which might help the two of you be on time to events you are scheduled to attend.

If you have been dating someone for a while but he or she has an issue with staying in the shower too long and making the two of you late for work or other events, try talking to him or her about this. Set a timer if you can, and remind him or her that it is time to go if necessary.
