Sometimes relationships end, and though it might be difficult to deal with the circumstances in which a relationship finishes, it might be time for you to move on. So, how do you do this? Is there a way to move forward if you are still feeling regret and missing the other person? Though the answer to this question might be different for everyone, here are a few suggestions.

1. Do your best to make peace.

Know what you can and can't control. Even if you have regrets, you might want to analyze if there is anything that you can do about them in your current situation. If there isn't, then the best move might be to accept that the situation is over and make peace with what happened.

2. Focus on other things.

Instead of spending your time consumed with thinking about the relationship that you may have lost, try to find new things to focus on. This could be a hobby or a night out with friends. It could even be a night of self-care. Try to keep yourself moving forward with activities that are helpful to your life.

3. Talk about it.

If you are still feeling stressed about the situation, talk to a close friend or family member about the situation. Sometimes, just talking about things can help relieve some of the stress and tension.

Moving on isn't an easy thing to do, but it is possible. Sometimes, you just have to take one step at a time. So, do your best to make peace with everything. Try to find a new focus, and make sure you talk to someone about the situation if needed.
