First Move

Dating can be a difficult path to navigate, and sometimes even after finding someone that you are interested in, it can be hard to decide what to do. Who should make the first move? Should you wait for the other person to come up to you? Wouldn't he or she do that if he or she was interested as well? These questions might rush through your mind, and you might think that it is better to wait for the other person to approach you.

However, what if that doesn't happen? The other person might be thinking the same thing that you are. He or she might be waiting to see if you talk to him or her, so why not go with your feelings and make the move? Forget about social standards and expectations. When you are dating, go for it. It doesn't hurt to start a conversation with someone that you like, and if you wait for him or her to make a move, then it might never happen.

Being motivated and courageous enough to talk to the one that you like might open new doors for you. You will be able to see how the other person responds when you approach him or her. You might find that he or she is more than excited to have a conversation with you, and you might even find that the two of you both want to go out again. So, next time you are contemplating what to do when you see your crush, use your instincts. You can be the one to make the first move.
