You're headed to your well-deserved holiday to Los Angeles and you can't want to stay on the golden beaches, chill in the plethora of hot nightclubs and get a glimpse of an iconic Hollywood celebrity.

Before you take your bags to the airport and begin your journey to LAX (that's L.A.-speak to mean Los Angeles International Airport) but, you may be tempted to take a breather and follow these guidelines to ensure that your trip to LAX, City of Angels as lovely and pleasurable as it can be:

The weather throughout the year is generally ideal for vacation, however, due to the fact that smog levels tends to increase during the months of July and August it's advised to skip the summer months. Instead, go in the period between April and March, when blooming flowers adorn the city, or in September through October when sky is clear, and there's very little or any fog (or pollution) to ruin your vacation.

Traveling in Los Angeles without visiting its beaches is almost indecent (this is where you can watch Baywatch in the end) So be sure to spend your time relaxing on L.A.'s famous shoreline. Choose from the numerous beaches of fine sand (Hermosa Beach Venice Beach, and Manhattan Beach top the list) and enjoy the golden rays of the California sun.

Benefit from being aware that L.A. hosts many among the United States' best restaurants and enjoy an enjoyable dinner at one of the numerous luxurious eateries. No matter if you're looking for a spicy Mexican dish or a nutritious organic meal There are likely to be some places within L.A. that can satisfy your cravings.

Bring the Hollywood enthusiast in you to feel ecstatic by taking a tour through L.A.'s studios. See the set in which your favorite TV shows are produced and meet some of the world's most famous celebrities (which are, in the end still the city's top most popular attraction) making a scene, or performing their lines.

Los Angeles is a city that is ruled by cars (there is a total of 26 million vehicles throughout the metropolitan area). In contrast to New York where walking is the most popular method for moving from one location to another, nobody is able to get from point A the other end of Los Angeles. West Coast city without hopping into a vehicle.

A few tourists in Los Angeles opt to rent an automobile and drive through the streets of Los Angeles. This is a problem in that visitors who aren't familiar with the city are vulnerable to becoming lost on the city's plethora of freeways. They may also find themselves stuck in the busiest areas during peak hours (remember this: L.A. is known for the traffic jams).

Instead of renting a vehicle instead, think about hiring the services of a taxi. Taxicabs are an easy and comfortable method to explore the city's most popular tourist destinations. Since the drivers of cabs are knowledgeable about their city's surroundings, they will stay clear of areas that are crowded and find alternatives that will get you closer to your destination.
