Everything is bigger in Texas, isn't it? Well, sometimes scandals are more significant as well. I'm used to all kinds of headlines, but I never expected to read about a teacher allegedly encouraging her students to fight during class, effectively starting a secret "fight club" during school hours.

A substitute teacher, Natally Garcia, was secretly filmed by one of her students during a class at Kimbrough Middle School in Mesquite, Texas, when she asked her students to fight Ms. Garcia even asked one of them to be on the lookout and said she would "take the phones to the office" if they filmed what was happening in the class.

The student who filmed this incident posted the video online, and it got picked up by the local news, so you have a chance to watch it yourself. In the video, you can see two boys fighting with each other and then two girls also initiating a fight - all in broad daylight, in a classroom.

The teacher, Natally Garcia, 24, has been fired from the school and subsequently arrested. She only worked at the school for one month before getting caught and removed. The local police department is currently investigating these allegations.

WFAA also reported that the student who filmed the original video is getting death threats from fellow students, which is crazy and heartbreaking. Her mother was the one who attracted the attention to the so-called "fight club", and she is eager to seek justice.

I'm speechless and not sure what to make of that. I feel like we've seen a lot, but I never imagined a middle school teacher getting caught doing this.
