PGA professional Roger King, of Sugarbush Resort Golf Club, successfully achieved a feat unprecedented on the golf course: completing 100 holes in a single day.
Initially starting as an athletic challenge, the undertaking soon evolved into a significant campaign as King decided to champion two cancer-focused organizations that have impacted his and his family's lives.
King and his family benefitted from the Cancer Patients Support Network and Vineyard Havens while his wife, Erin, battled breast cancer.
The duo spearheaded the initiation of the 100-hole challenge, which the community supported. Contributions flooded in even before Roger started his play, with an impressive sum exceeding $15,000 being raised by the time he completed his round.
Congrats to Roger on successfully completing the "King 100 Challenge"!
