This locally owned juice center in Dallas area that opened just before the pandemic has now become a local favorite

Dallas and the surrounding suburbs have many small and big chain juice centers but when a juice center owned by a local family offers a menu with better quality products, we have to try them! Let's just say that I am all in for smoothies from fresh fruits only plus no added sugars or preservatives! This juice center owned by a Dallas based mom, opened right before the pandemic hit and they could never experience a normal summer business. While several businesses have suffered major losses during this critical time and some have even shut, small businesses need all the support from their local community to keep their doors open. And when it comes to a place serving a delicious menu with great quality at affordable prices, we are all up for it!

Kwench Juice Cafe owned by Shraddha Pokle, is based in Frisco, Tx. On this week's mom owned small business series, I want to introduce you to this juice center that I know you would love to try! Shraddha, with support from her husband, Vinayak Pokle and her two teenager kids, run the cafe and if you decide to try this place, you will get to meet the owner and see her in action.

Meet Shraddha Pokle, the owner of Kwench Juice Cafe.

Dallas locals have been loving this place mainly because they are one of those rare juice cafes that prepare all their smoothies from fresh fruits! Yes, that's right, they pride themselves in never using frozen fruits and also there are no added sugars or preservatives! Plus, they shop local for the fruits they use in their smoothies, the freshest ingredients ever!

Look who else is loving Kwench juice cafe!

Kwench opened before the pandemic, in November 2019, after she spent about a year looking for a perfect location for her business. There is so much a small business owner goes through behind the scenes that makes it all the more important for us to help them keep their business going. Shraddha struggled with getting a financial help as she was a novice in business and no bank would approve her loan. "We knew it was going to be a slow start for us as we opened during the winters and juice cafes do better in summers. It was also the time around Thanksgiving and Christmas. We were keeping our hopes high for March, that's when juice centers start picking up but unfortunately COVID hit us and we were in a lockdown," Shraddha told Newsbreak.

Kwench Juice Cafe is located in a beautiful corporate office park, which normally is where juice cafes do so much better. When covid, every other office was evacuated and more and more people started to work from home. "We are now open 100%, but not all the offices are resuming business per usual and not everyone is willing to work from office. Until then, Kwench and all the other businesses on the strip will suffer low foot traffic!" Shraddha added.

One of the perks of going to small business places like Kwench, is that you get to meet and know the people who make your food and also know what goes into making it. Kwench owners are very welcoming and are known for their hospitality. "We take pride in what we do and that reflects on all the feedback we receive from our customers,: Shraddha told Newsbreak.

All the products at Kwench are vegan friendly, no added sugars and preservatives, no frozen fruits used and is always made to order from scratch with raw products. Their menu offer freshly squeezed juices, smoothies, açaí and pitaya bowls, yogurt smoothies and a few eatables too.

My personal favorite from their menu are Evolution, Tropical Infusion and Namaste Raw smoothies and Cacao bowl. If you would also like to eat from the place, I would highly recommend trying their Pesto Panini and Samosa. Our kids love their mango yogurt smoothie. They also offer healthy shots like lemon, ginger tumeric and wheatgrass. They also offer keto smoothies and you can also customize your own acai or pitaya bowl.

"We will continue to work hard and will provide the same good quality products and services to people and I am sure, slowly success will follow!" Shraddha is hopeful that her cafe will pick up as things start to smooth out this year.
