Fuku, a popular upscale restaurant from New York City, from celebrity chef David Chang has made its debut in Texas. They are expanding their business in Texas and opened their first locations in Dallas and Houston on April 6. Fuku is not an actual dine- in type restaurant, it is rather a ghost kitchen that operates in partnership with REEF. For those who are new to the concept of ghost kitchen restaurants, they are restaurants without a dining space. A restaurant that only serves an online or a 'to-go' menu through online delivery services.

According to Eater Dallas, Fuku CEO Alex Munoz-Suarez said that through this delivery-only model, they are able to introduce Fuku to Dallas and Houston in a safe and controlled way, allowing Fuku fans to enjoy it from the comfort of home. While many in Dallas area are still practicing COVID safety measures, this is rather a really good option for those who want to avoid dining in the restaurant. Many restaurants in the DFW area have pivoted to accommodate their customers through curbside pickups, delivery models and special drive thru menus as the industry continues to be hit hard by the pandemic.
Fuku offers delicious menu items that draws from both Asian and American influences. Fuku was started with this really delicious thigh-meat spicy fried chicken sandwich and has since grown to serve a variety of fried chicken offerings, sides, and slushies.
Fuku, Dallas, is offering their scrumptious sandwiches and their special varieties of Fuku waffle fries and chicken fingers on their menu. Our favorite from the place is their new spicy fried chicken sando and C.B.R. sando with waffle fries with sweet jalapeño seasoning, oh the seasoning makes all the difference, so delicious! And as for their sauces our all time favorite is the knockout sauce and also the Fuku mayo, if you like spicy.

Chef David Chang's restaurant Momofuku Ko was awarded two Michelin Stars in 2009 and has kept them since. Chef Chang also has a show on Netflix called Ugly Delicious with an entire episode dedicated to Nashville hot chicken.
