5 Best (egg-cellent!) Easter events in Dallas area; live bunny photos, egg hunt, drive thru and more!

It's a great tradition to gather those baskets and go for an egg hunt or take pictures with bunny! Texas weather has been so nice lately, some outdoor events have already begun! There are so many exciting Easter events happening around the city that we don't want to miss.

Dallas- Fort Worth- Arlington metroplex is such a huge area with several events happening across the city. And Dallas never disappoints us on any holiday. Here's a list of five events that we have put together including those with COVID safety, drive thru events; if you want to practice safety measures and yet have a fun time with your family. The list also includes pictures with Easter bunnies and also free events. I am sure a few of these will definitely have you want more!

1. Funny Bunny Festival in Lewisville:

Event Date: March 27, 2021 Time: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Location: Toyota of Lewisville Railroad Park - 1301 South Railroad Street, Lewisville, TX 75057, USA

This drive thru event will be held in the parking lot of the football complex at the railroad park, just North of Dallas. The event will sure make your littles excited while also keeping them safe. This railroad park will have community vendors and will offer goodies to fill up Easter baskets from their sponsors and vendors.

That's not all! The Play Lewisville On Wheels Team will be providing activity packets for children, and Parks & Recreation staff will be passing out eggs for you to take home.

2. Underwater Egg Hunt:

Date: April 3, 2021 Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Location: Flower Mound CAC - 1200 Gerault Road, Flower Mound, TX 75028, USA

This exciting event at CAC includes a visit from Easter bunny, arts and crafts and games! You can also stay after the egg hunt to play in the pool and enjoy other activities. They ask parents to be in the water with all non-swimmers. You will have to pre register for this event. They have 20 minutes time slots and allow 20 participants in each round.

3. Easter Egg Hunt Lake Dallas:

Date: March 27, 2021 Time: 1:00 PM

Location: Lake Cities United Methodist Church - 300 E Hundley Dr, Lake Dallas, TX 75065, USA

This is a free event for kids ages between 4 years and Fifth grade. The event will also have Easter Bunny to take cute pictures with your littles. They ask all adults to wear a mask but masks for children are optional.

4. Watters Creek:

Date: March 6th- April 3rd, 2021 (Weekends only) Time: 7 PM- 10 PM

Location: 970 Garden Park Dr, Allen, TX 75013

Silver Star Pictures in partnership with with foster families of Wild Rescue, Inc. brings child friendly rescue bunnies to take Easter pictures in this suburb in North Dallas. They have many bunnies for the photo sessions to prevent any of them from becoming stressed. A Bunny Wrangler is present to care for the bunnies.

They have the perfect spring backdrop to take your kid's pictures with the bunny and your kids can also pet the bunnies. Dress your kids up in cute Easter outfits and enjoy a fun evening filled with bunnies and pictures!

5. Urban Bunny Trail:

Date: March 13, 2021 Time: 09:00 AM- 4 PM

Location: Downtown Garland Square, Main St, Garland, TX 75040

This is a free event for children in Garland, just North East of Dallas. The Foundry Church in partnership with The Urban Market present this event until 4pm, or until all the eggs are gone. Children will collect Easter eggs along the bunny trail from Urban Market vendors and participating downtown Garland businesses. You start at Bunny Central (The Foundry Church tent on the downtwon Garland square) to get your Urban Bunny Trail map.
