Do you love the sunny vibes from California? Sunright Tea Studio brings alive those feelings of a nice warm and sunny day. It is the perfect tea studio that gives you your daily caffeine fix (non-caffeine too). This is one of my favorite places to go for some boba drinks. And I am always searching for new and innovative combinations. Leaving me the enjoyment of how delicious and fresh their drinks are. Sunright Tea Studio sure knows how to whip everything up!

The space at Sunright Tea Studio is inviting to share with family and friends. It is the perfect hangout spot for afternoon tea. Sunright Tea Studio’s branding is yellow colors and clouds. This is designed to represent the sunny weather of California. The branding also reminds me of walking into a flower field. The bright sun shining upon my back as I look at the whimsical clouds in the sky. The creative side is the staff are all wearing yellow and black. This makes them look like busy bees working in the fields as they hustle out orders.

Sunright Tea Studio takes pride in sourcing high quality ingredients. The tea leaves are farmed on the mountain tops. Letting the plants soak in the sun and absorbing the rain in the evenings. The farmers would pick the leaves carefully and process them through rolling, roasting, and fermentation. The tea leaves are then paired with different ingredients. Sunright Tea Studio locally sources their non-dairy products from Califia Farms in Los Angeles. They also source their probiotic products from Yakult in Fountain Valley.

Sunright Tea Studio is all about shaking your beverage 17 times before drinking. This is their method of getting the perfect blend and flavors. This also gives the patrons the opportunity to stop and savor the moments. I don’t mind waiting 17 seconds later to properly enjoy the drinks. I do wonder how they got to the number 17 though. If this method doesn’t work, I recommend just shaking it several times and stirring your drink with a straw. Sometimes, I do not mix my drinks right away because I like eating the yummy chunks from the Taro or Red Bean in my drinks.

My boyfriend and I have tried a lot of items on their drink menu. Our to-go drinks are the Red Bean Boba Milk and the Taro Boba Milk. The Red Bean Boba Milk is made with their house made brown sugar and sweetened fresh milk. This drink is topped with red bean and boba. The brown sugar fresh milk is not too sweet. The drink being not too sweet is one of the main reasons why we like getting it. The red bean is creamy and earthy. It almost tastes sweet like a sweet potato. The Taro Boba Milk is my personal favorite. This drink is made with their house made brown sugar and sweetened fresh milk. It is topped with taro and boba. The brown sugar fresh milk is delicious. The taro is just like a sweet potato. It also tastes like sweet creamy vanilla and a little nutty. The texture is starchy, but I enjoy eating the big chunks.

Want to spring forward to Barton Springs Pool in Austin, Texas?

(Photo by Natasha Nguyen) What to do during Spring Break? Why not go to Barton Springs Pool in Austin, Texas. The pools are open on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Be sure to swim at your own risk. The Barton Springs Pool is about three acres in size with an average of 68-70 degrees. This temperature is ideal for year-round swimming. The pools are about 0' to 18' deep. They also have a diving board more towards the middle of the pool. There are tons of grassy area all around for the guest to sunbathe and relax. I enjoyed walking on the trails along the springs. This also leads to more grassy area or a park. Please note that there are no food, coolers, pets, and other things not allowed inside. Be sure to eat ahead of time so you won't get hangry. You can at least bring water bottles that hasn't been open. Also, please check the guidelines before entering. The springs is served to help protect the salamaders and wildlife here. Be respectful as much as possible. The Barton Springs Pool is closed every Thursdays to clean and to help maintain the pool area. There are no reservations required. However, capcity is limited and there is a 2 hour limit during this time due to COVID-19. Please make sure to follow all safety and health measures. Visiting the Barton Springs Pool was one of our most memorable experience. I've always wanted to swim in spring water and have my own form of purification.
