(Douglas County, Colo.) Douglas County has its fair share of local breweries, wineries, and distilleries itching to share libations with the community in festival settings this summer.
Here are nine DougCo beer, wine, and spirit festivals to enjoy this summer:
The Cans Festival
6-8:30 p.m. May 12 at the Southridge Recreation Center, 4800 McArthur Ranch Road in Highlands Ranch
The Cans Festival celebrates canned alcoholic beverages. Guests can enjoy unlimited tastings from dozens of canned wines, cocktails, seltzers, and more.
Tickets are $35 and will benefit the Highlands Ranch Scholarship Fund.
Brew HaHa Craft Beer Fest
3-11 p.m. May 13 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 500 Fairgrounds Road in Castle Rock
The Brew HaHa Fest features craft beer tastings served by off-duty Local 2091 Douglas County Professional Firefighters and local 1110 Roseburg Professional Firefighters, plus members of the Douglas County Fire District.
Guests can meet local law enforcement officers while enjoying live music, games, and food, all while supporting the Treven Anspach Memorial Fund, which provides scholarships for students studying within the emergency response field.
Tickets are $15 for a commemorative tasting glass and four taste tickets. Additional taste tickets are available for $1 each.
Parker Wine Walks
4:30-7:30 p.m. on the final Friday of each month from May 26 through September 29, along Mainstreet in Parker
Guests are invited to shop and sip with over 20 Downtown Parker merchants as they pour unlimited wine tastings.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
The Highlands Ranch Beer Festival
2-5 p.m. June 3 at 9370 Ridgeline Blvd. in Highlands Ranch
The Highlands Ranch Beer Festival will feature live music, beer from over 20 local and national breweries, and lawn games. Guests will receive unlimited beer samples and a one-ounce souvenir glass.
Tickets are $45 and are available to reserve here.
Proceeds benefit the Highlands Ranch Scholarship Fund.
Colorado Whiskey Fest
11 a.m.- 5 p.m. July 8 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 500 Fairgrounds Road in Castle Rock
Guests are invited to a day of whiskey and bourbon tastings from numerous Colorado distilleries. The Whiskey Fest will also feature tastings of wines, beers, and other spirits, vendors, giveaways, and live music.
Tickets are $35 for designated drivers and $75 for those drinking.
The Castle Rock Wine Fest
2-7 p.m. July 15 at Bison Park, 1390 Clear Sky Way in Castle Rock
Wine lovers are invited to the Castle Rock Chamber’s Castle Rock Wine Fest for unlimited tastings from over two dozen Colorado wineries. Guests can also enjoy food trucks, vendors, and live music.
Tickets range from $18 for designated driver tickets to $95 for VIP tickets.
Parker Brewfest
1-5 p.m. Aug. 12 at O’Brien Park, 10795 Victorian Drive in Parker
Over 30 breweries will provide unlimited tastings to guests at the Parker Brewfest. The festival will also feature food trucks, live music, and more.
Castle Rock Beer Fest Under the Stars
4-9 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Phillip Miller Amphitheater, 1375 W. Plum Creek Pkwy. in Castle Rock
The Castle Rock Beer Fest is an all-inclusive food, beer, and music celebration closing the summer. Guests can enjoy unlimited tastings from over 25 breweries, a few distilleries, wineries, and over seven food truck hors d'oeuvre-sized tastings.

Parker Uncorked Wine Festival Fundraiser
6 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Vehicle Vault Automotive Museum, 18301 Lincoln Meadows Pkwy. in Parker
The Rotary Club of Parker’s Wine Festival features free food, unlimited wine tastings in commemorative tasting glasses, and access to the Automotive Museum, all while benefitting the Rotary Club’s work with local and national nonprofits, including The Crisis Center, Denver Indian Center, Project Sanctuary, and Project CURE.
Tickets range from $25 for designated driver tickets to $125 for VIP tickets.
