(Parker, Colo.) An essential part of Parker’s Master Plan focuses on pedestrian and bike accessibility, and residents can expect changes in the coming years.
Parker’s Community Development Department Planning Division released a public draft of the Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan — an essential step toward creating a safe and healthy community.
The plan will consider existing bike paths and feedback from Parker residents to create sustainable, environmentally-conscious pathways that promote cycling and walking.
Residents can submit their suggestions here.
Some current suggestions include a bike lane connecting Lone Tree and Parker, and improving drainage, pedestrian access to grocery stores, and more.
The new plan will include residents’ recommendations. Final adoption of the plan is expected this summer.
