Larkspur Area Chamber monthly mixer
5:30 p.m. May 9 at Jellystone Park located at 650 Sky View Lane in Larkspur
The Larkspur Area Chamber's monthly mixer is open to all interested in networking with other Larkspur business peers. Light drinks and appetizers will be served and more information is available here.
Wildfire safety summit
6-8 p.m. May 12 at the PACE Center located at 20000 Pikes Peak Ave. in Parker
The Town of Parker's Office of Emergency Management, the Parker Police Department, South Metro Fire Rescue, the Parker/Lone Tree Emergency Communications Center, the Douglas County Office of Emergency Management and other contributors will join together to talk about preventative strategies as well as emergency notification systems and evacuation plans. The community is invited to the free summit and must register online here.
The Great Guitars
8 p.m. May 14 at the Lone Tree Arts Center located at 10075 Commons St. in Lone Tree
The Great Guitars cover legendary guitar solos dating back to the 1970s and feature artists Martin Taylor, Bruce Forman, and John Jorgenson. Ticket prices range from $35- $45 and are available here.
Canine adoption event
11 a.m. - 3 p.m. May 14 at Petco located at 6378 Promenade Pkwy. in Castle Rock
Douglas County Canine Rescue hosts an adoption event for all adoptable, vaccinated, microchipped, and fixed puppies and adult dogs. Find out more about adoption fees and get pre-approved for adoption here.
Comedy night
8 p.m. May 14 at the Studio@Mainstreet located at 19604 Mainstreet in Parker
Rion Evans will present at comedy night, a night featuring regional and local comedians. Tickets are $18 and are available for purchase here.
