Chicago can say goodbye to endless commute times and sitting in nightmare rush hour traffic and hello to the country's first commercial air taxi service using specially constructed vertical movement aircraft. The planes, which can travel at 150 mph, will travel between O'Hare International Airport and Vertiport Chicago, which will be the biggest vacility servicing vertical aircraft take-off and landing vehicles in North America. Vertiport will be built near the West Loop in the Illinois Medical District.

Archer Aviation and United Airlines have announced a partnership to launch an air taxi service at Chicago O'Hare airport starting in 2025. This exciting new venture will allow passengers to travel quickly and efficiently between downtown Chicago and the airport, avoiding the traffic and congestion that can cause significant delays.

The air taxis will be operated by Archer Aviation, a pioneering company in the field of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. These aircraft are designed to be quiet, efficient, and environmentally friendly powered by six battery packs instead of jet fuel. This will make these planes an ideal choice for urban transportation. The air taxis will be able to carry up to four passengerswith luggage and will be piloted by trained professionals.

The new service promises to revolutionize the way people travel to and from the airport, making it faster, more convenient, and more comfortable than ever before. Passengers will be able to book their flights online, and the air taxis will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

This new partnership between Archer Aviation and United Airlines is a sign of the growing interest in eVTOL technology and its potential to transform the transportation industry. As more and more companies invest in this technology, we can expect to see even more innovative and exciting new services in the years to come.
