With everything beginning to change with the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine, people are thinking about how to get back into life. One of the areas that has been most affected by the pandemic is weddings and honeymoons. Weddings are most often celebrated with large groups of friends and family and honeymoons are taken to popular tourist locations in months that many people get married during. With the pandemic however, all this had to change. Weddings were frequently conducted on Zoom and honeymoons became staycations at home or for those willing to take the risk, somewhere quiet and secluded.

Now with things beginning to get back on track, weddings, while perhaps smaller than they would’ve been previously, are being scheduled. Honeymoons are not as restricted in terms of location any longer.

There are several wonderfully romantic and exciting honeymoon spots in or within a half days drive of Atlanta, Georgia. For the ideal southern honeymoon, try one of these locations for the perfect beginning to your new life together.
