After my stay in Melbourne, I just had to revisit Sydney, and I am so glad I did!
During most of my stay, I stayed with PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney. Having stayed there 7 years ago, it was great to return to a familiar place I knew would not disappoint.
The PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney is a great business hotel near the harbor, where you can walk to many restaurants and shops.
MY EXPERIENCE
PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney has a very modern and upscale ambiance, which I like. The place is great for all types of travelers, including business travelers, families, couples, and solo travelers (such as myself).
I arrived in Sydney around noon and could check in early, which was nice. The check-in process was efficient and simple.
The staff seemed to be helpful as well.
Room:
I stayed in their Club Suite room, which is a 1 bedroom featuring a king-sized bed (very comfy!!), an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower, a living room area, and an executive work desk.
I had a very comfortable stay and highly recommend booking this room for short or long-term stays.

ABODE Bistro. Bar
While I was here, I came here for dinner, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The ABODE Bistro is located right next door to the hotel. The restaurant is elegant and beautiful, and the food is divine. All the dishes I tried left me wanting more. View more information about the restaurant here.

Enjoy their gym facilities, fitted with state-of-the-art training equipment. The gym is great; I came here during my stay and it had a good amount of solid equipment – so no excuses to not check it out!
OVERALL RATING
I enjoyed my stay at PARKROYAL Darling Harbour! The main pros were the great location, with so many things nearby – something I look for while traveling. The staff was friendly and helpful which is a must. As for the room, it was comfortable and spacious, and it was a great place to stay while in Sydney. Check out my full hotel tour video here.
