The island of Oahu is known as the "Heart of Hawaii," since there is so much to do, both in and out of the hustle and bustle. No matter where you are on Oahu, you will find an activity or attraction to suit your tastes. 1. VISIT THE SUNFLOWER FIELDS

If you're on Oahu during the months of June or July, you should check out the Sunflower Event at Waimanalo Country Farms.

Take your camera along, as it's a fun event for those looking for picturesque views!

At the event, they will have a market stand where people can buy honey, homemade cornbread, coasters, and sunflowers. If you like, you can even eat a sunflower head with garlic butter and parmesan. It was delicious!

In the end, they even give you free lemonade! Admission is $10.

2. GO FISHING

Fishing Farms Hawaii is located in Central O'ahu. There are 3 ponds at the Fishing Farms filled with healthy tilapia, catfish, and a prawn pond.

Fishing essentials can be rented from them, including bait, poles, and buckets. You are given dough bait to use as bait for fishing. Once you've finished fishing, you can have it cooked or take it home.

It’s a fun activity for the whole family! View more information here.

3. BOOK THE SECRET ISLAND BEACH ADVENTURE TOUR

The Secret Island Beach Adventure Tour via Kualoa Ranch is a must-check out if you enjoy all sorts of water activities (kayaks, paddle boarding, canoes, catamarans, etc.)!

With lots of water sports equipment and beach games, the Secret Island Beach Adventure is the perfect place to relax and spend time with family and friends. During your stay on the island, you can also take the Ocean Voyage Adventure tour, which takes you to Oahu's windward side.

If you choose the full-day option, this tour includes lunch! All you need is your beach equipment and a fun-filled beach day awaits!

I recommend Manoa Falls if you want a quick and moderate hike. Manoa Falls is one of the more popular waterfall hikes in Hawaii and has also been featured in Jurassic Park and Lost. A 150-foot waterfall with a stunning pool awaits you at the end of the hike at the incredible Manoa Falls.

5. VISIT SPITTING CAVES

The Spitting Caves, also known as the China Wall, is a popular tourist destination. It's one of my favorite places!

The cave got its name from the water rushing into it being spit back out. On the southeast coast of Oahu, Spitting Caves is located in the charming neighborhood of Portlock.
